Fees & Policies

Fees:

All courses have their fees published alongside their Course descriptions. All amounts are listed in $USD. No walk-ins are allowed. Each attendee must register and pay in advance of the date of the course. Registration is for a single individual only . 

Payment for Courses:

First, you must register by emailing us and indicating which course[s] you wish to take. You’ll then receive an invoice by email with instructions on how to pay. Once payment has been received, you’re then fully registered for the course.

Simple and convenient!

Policies:

1. Refund Policy [as of 1/1/2020 – subject to change]

If you are unable to attend a seminar weekend after registering and paying, the following policies are in effect:

a. canceling 14 days [or more] from seminar date = 75% refund

b. canceling less than 14 days from seminar date = 25% refund

c. seminar no-show = no refund

d. unable to attend full weekend = no refund but you will be able to make up the missing day at a later date

All refund requests will be processed in a reasonable timeframe.

2. Cancellation Policy

IONA Education LLC reserves the right to cancel any scheduled seminar up to ten (10) business days prior to the start date if there is low enrollment or hazardous weather/traveling conditions. Otherwise, it’s full steam ahead!

3. Accommodation Policy

IONA Education LL does not discriminate against attendees with disabilities and will make all reasonable accommodations to any attendee as such.

4. Privacy Policy

Other than retaining information for Accreditation PDA Certificates [Name, License Number, Date of Attendance] and communication [email and phone numbers] IONA Education LLC does not collect or keep any other personally identifiable information, including financial [credit card, checking accounts, etc.] as we simply don’t want them beyond their intended use. Your information is safe and we use reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards designed to secure the personal information you do share with us. Regardless of the precautions taken by us or by you, no data transmission over the Internet [any other public network] can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you provide all personal information to us at your own risk.

5. Email Notifications

IONA Education LLC will not send you any unsolicited emails. We don’t have time for that. If you receive an email from us it is to inform you of an issue with your registration and/or payment and to remind you that your seminar is upcoming [a week’s notice is fine]. 

6. Limitation of Liability

You expressly agree that you are using this service at your own risk. IONA Education LLC does not make any representations or warranties of any kind regarding this content and is provided on an “as is” basis.  IONA Education LLC shall in no event be liable for any damages or losses, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive damages resulting from or caused by the use of this content, including, without limitation, losses related to your inability to use this service, any errors, omissions or defects in the content, or, any interruptions, delays in information transmission or computer viruses. IONA Education LLC takes no responsibility for the timeliness of the information presented in the seminars, on this  website. IONA Education LLC does not warrant that any material referenced or comments made within a seminar course is the only opinion or treatment available. 

7. Terms of Service

IONA Education LLC and it’s Instructors provide a service for you to obtain your CEUs for re-licensure. It is ultimately your responsibility to to make sure that you have obtained your CEU credits/points and that the seminars you attend will qualify. IONA Education LLC, to the best of it’s abilities, announces CEU credit hours [PDA points] that it has received approval for. You also agree to indemnify, defend and hold IONA Education LLC harmless against any claims or costs, including attorney’s fees, arising from the use of this site for obtaining CEUs.

8. Recording Policy

No recording or reproduction of seminar presentations is permitted without the express written consent of IONA Education LLC AND the seminar’s Instructor.

9. Code of Conduct

Attendees agree to conduct themselves at all times in a manner conducive to the promotion of a positive and professional learning environment for themselves and other attendees. Belligerent, abusive, profane, threatening and/or any other inappropriate behavior on the part of attendee will warrant immediate dismissal from the seminar [without refund]. The dismissed attendee will be prohibited from registering for additional seminars with IONA Education LLC. 

10. Transcripts

Transcripts are available after all seminars [once provided by the Certifying body] and are available at any time by requesting them [via email].
